Prag Cine Awards

Prag Cine Awards are annual prizes presented by Prag News and Rengoni, a satellite TV channel from Assam. The awards recognize excellence in cinema in Assam and the broader North-East India. They were first given in 2003. The aim is to support, recognize, and inspire the Assamese film industry and to honour filmmakers who have contributed to Assamese cinema. Since 2015, films from other Northeastern states have also been honoured at the ceremony.
