Roman Serhiyovych Romanyuk (born 18 October 1961 in Chernivtsi) is a Ukrainian politician who served as a People's Deputy in the Verkhovna Rada during the VII and VIII convocations, from 2012 to 2019. He grew up as an orphan, spending time in an orphanage and a children's home called Romashka, and finished schooling in a boarding school. He trained as a wireman of electric and radio equipment at Technical College No. 2 in Chernivtsi, and in 1988 earned a law degree from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He worked in Kyiv's state authorities and local government. In the 2014 elections he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada on the Petro Poroshenko Bloc list (No. 25). In parliament he was a member of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction and chaired the subcommittee on the legal status of the High Council of Justice and the High Judicial Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine in the area of law policy and rights. In 2020 he ran for Kyiv City Council as No. 6 on the UDAR party list. He is married and has a daughter.
