Present Indicative (Hungarian: Jelenidő) is a 1972 Hungarian drama film directed by Péter Bacsó, who co-wrote it with Péter Zimre. It stars András Kovács, with cinematography by János Zsombolyai. The film was released on 13 January 1972, runs 111 minutes, and is in Hungarian. It was Hungary’s entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 45th Academy Awards, but it did not receive a nomination.
