Description:
The Sierra Leone free-tailed bat (Mops brachypterus) is a bat in the Molossidae family. It lives in many African countries: Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Togo, and possibly the Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, and Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Habitat:
It prefers subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
