Post Traumatic is the first solo EP by Mike Shinoda, the lead vocalist, keyboardist and guitarist of Linkin Park. Released January 25, 2018, through Warner Bros. and Machine Shop, the EP runs 9 minutes and 35 seconds and features three songs Shinoda wrote and produced to help cope with the death of Chester Bennington. The music blends alternative rock, alternative hip hop and lo-fi sounds. Shinoda emphasizes that this is a personal project—not Linkin Park or Fort Minor. All three songs have official music videos and were later included on the Post Traumatic album. All tracks were written by Mike Shinoda.
