Babe Donnelly

Babe Donnelly (James Joseph Donnelly) was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman born December 22, 1894, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He played 34 NHL games with the Montreal Maroons in the 1926–27 season. The rest of his career, from 1916 to the mid-1930s, was spent in various minor leagues. He was 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighed 180 pounds, and shot left. Donnelly died July 27, 1968, in Sault Ste. Marie, at age 73.
