John Deakin (rowing)

John Deakin (born 4 March 1965) is a British rowing coxswain. He steered the lightweight men’s eight to a gold medal at the 1994 World Rowing Championships in Indianapolis. He also competed for Great Britain as the cox of the lightweight eight at the world championships in 1990 (Tasmania), 1994 (Indianapolis), 1995 (Tampere), and 1997 (Aiguebelette).
