Castello di Villagonia was a castle near the sea in Taormina, Sicily. It was built in the Middle Ages by the De Spucches family. In the early 1500s it became part of the Capo Schisò defense system to defend the area from Barbary pirate raids. The castle later belonged to the San Martino family. In 1913 the government expropriated it from Giuseppe San Martino and his wife, and the castle was demolished to make space for the Taormina-Giardini train station on the Messina-Catania railway.
