Portoscuso Wind Farm is a proposed wind power project in Portoscuso, Sardinia, Italy. It would use 39 turbines, each about 2.3 MW, for a total capacity of 90 MW. When built, it could generate around 185 GWh per year, enough to power over 70,000 homes, and save about 130,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. The project is owned by Enel Green Power and has a commissioning date of 2012, with an estimated cost of about €100 million.
