Port Jervis City School District (PJCSD) is a local school district in Deerpark, New York, with a Port Jervis mailing address. It runs four schools: two elementary schools, one middle school, and Port Jervis High School. The building that used to house Port Jervis Middle School is now East Main Elementary School, while Port Jervis Middle School has moved to a new location.

District address: 10 Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771, United States. The district serves grades K–12 and includes about 2,504 students, 225.52 teachers, and 148.79 other staff, for a student–teacher ratio of 11.1:1. School colors are red and black. Website: pjschools.org.

PJCSD serves Port Jervis and parts of Deerpark (including Sparrow Bush) in Orange County, as well as sections of Forestburgh and Mamakating in Sullivan County.

Superintendents have changed over time. Tom Bongiovi was the superintendent until 2017, leaving with a severance in 2017. Mike Rydell became superintendent in 2018. John Bell was named superintendent on July 19, 2022; he previously led the nearby Delaware Valley School District (2012–2022) and graduated from Port Jervis High School in 1985.

For many years, Montague Township, New Jersey sent high school students to Port Jervis High School. Starting in 2013–2014, Montague switched high school students to High Point Regional High School, and by 2017 all high school students from Montague were at High Point. Montague also moved middle school students there, which affected Port Jervis financially. Port Jervis expected to lose about $1.8 million in tuition revenue by 2018. Montague owed Port Jervis about $441,327 in tuition by 2016, a dispute the district pursued in court.

The district notes that the community has relatively low socioeconomic status in its 2019–2020 profile. The middle and high schools sit on the same property, and the district’s headquarters are on the secondary school site in Deerpark. Previously headquartered in Port Jervis, the district announced plans in 2020 to move its headquarters to the new middle school building.
