Okibacterium

Okibacterium is a genus of bacteria that is Gram-positive and does not form spores. It belongs to the Microbacteriaceae family, within the Micrococcales order of the Actinobacteria. The genus was first described in 2002 by Evtushenko and colleagues. The type species is Okibacterium fritillariae. Other known species include Okibacterium endophyticum, described in 2015.
