Porn and Chicken
Porn and Chicken is a Chicago-based production and DJ group that blends genres like house, dubstep, moombahton, reggaetone, and electro house. Core members have included Dom Brown and Orville Kline, with later additions such as Stevic Mac and Ammo; former members include Mandi and The Sleepers.
The project started around 2010 as a weekly party at Risque Cafe in Wrigleyville after Brown began hiring DJs to form a group. The name, originally “Beer. Chicken. Porn.,” reflected the bar’s vibe and ethic. A series of bar closures and fines led them to move venues, eventually landing at Evil Olive, where they built the brand into a noted artist collective.
In 2012 they collaborated with Homeless Cop, an Adult Swim cartoonist, to create a Porn and Chicken cartoon.
In 2014 they released “Let it Bleed” featuring Justin Tranter and “Leap Frog” featuring Kryoman, and they remixed Missy Elliott’s “Lose Control.” In 2016 they released “All Hell Broke Loose” and “Snapchat That Booty Clap.”
