Pojeta Peak
Pojeta Peak is a mountain about 1,500 meters high in the central Webers Peaks of the Heritage Range, Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It is located roughly 2 nautical miles (3.7 kilometers) southeast of Bingham Peak. The peak was named by the U.S. Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in honor of John Pojeta, Jr., a paleontologist with the U.S. Geological Survey who participated in the US Antarctic Research Program Ellsworth Mountains Expedition of 1979–80.
