Diploplecta adjacens is a small spider in the Linyphiidae family found only in New Zealand. It was described in 1988 by Alfred Frank Millidge from female specimens collected in Auckland and Nelson. The holotype is stored in the New Zealand Arthropod Collection (NZAC03014968). Females are about 1.65 mm long, with a pale yellow cephalothorax and grey markings, pale orange-brown legs, and a pale yellow abdomen with dark markings. It is known only from Auckland and Nelson, and is listed as Not Threatened under the New Zealand Threat Classification System.
