Luke Turley
Luke Thomas Turley, born 24 March 2000 in Watford, England, is an English freestyle swimmer who has represented England internationally. He started swimming at Stevenage Swimming Club, later joining Hatfield Swimming Club, and studied at the University of Bath. Turley won two silver medals at the 2022 British Swimming Championships in the 400m and 800m freestyle, finishing behind Daniel Jervis. He represented England at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, finishing 5th in the 400m freestyle and also competing in the 1500m freestyle. In 2023, he won the gold medal in the 400m freestyle at the British Swimming Championships. He works full-time as a swimming coach at the University of Bath, where he leads the recreational team and has helped swimmers win national and international events.
