Podgorje is a small settlement in northern Slovenia, in the Municipality of Velenje. It sits in the foothills of the Ložnica Hills, west of Velenje, along the road to Šoštanj. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria and the Savinja Statistical Region. Podgorje covers about 1.08 square kilometers and sits at about 427 meters above sea level. In 2002, its population was 158.
