Piptospatha
Piptospatha is a genus of flowering plants in the arum family, Araceae. It is rheophytic, meaning it grows in and along fast-moving streams. Its seeds are spread when water splashes into its cup-shaped spathes. The genus includes three species, all native to Borneo. It was first described by N. E. Brown in 1879.
