Giovanni Clunie
Giovanni Pierre Clunie Asenjo (born 20 December 1994) is a Costa Rican professional footballer who plays as a forward for ReinMeer Aomori. He was born in Cartago, Costa Rica, and is 1.93 meters tall.
Clunie began his senior career with Cartaginés in 2012, making 108 league appearances and scoring 11 goals. He had loan spells at A.D. Turrialba (2013–2014) and Zweigen Kanazawa in 2019, where he appeared 30 times and scored 7 goals. He later played for Jicaral (2020–2021), Sporting F.C. (2021–2022), and Santos de Guápiles (2022–2023). In 2023 he joined ReinMeer Aomori, and as of August 28, 2023, had yet to make an appearance for the club.
