Raisa Andriana, known simply as Raisa, is an Indonesian singer and songwriter born on June 6, 1990, in Jakarta. She studied at BINUS University and has been making music since 2008.

She first gained attention as the singer of the band Andante, which later became Vierra. Her breakout hit was the song “Serba Salah,” which helped her win the Indonesian Music Awards for Best Newcomer. Raisa released her self-titled debut album in 2011, followed by Heart to Heart in 2013 and Handmade in 2016. She has released music with Solid Records, Universal Music Indonesia, and Juni Records.

Raisa has worked on various notable projects, including opening Metallica’s Jakarta concert in 2013, singing for the Indonesian version of Disney’s Cinderella soundtrack in 2015, and recording the song “Percayalah” for the film London Love Story. She served as a guest judge on Indonesian Idol in 2014.

Her music blends pop and R&B, and she is known for her distinctive voice. Raisa also achieved recognition on global charts, placing on Billboard Uncharted in 2014 and Billboard Social 50 in 2017.

In her personal life, Raisa married Australian actor Hamish Daud in 2017. They have a daughter, Zalina Raine Wyllie, born on February 12, 2019. The couple has filed for divorce, with a hearing scheduled for November 3, 2025.

Beyond singing, Raisa has performed in concerts and toured in Indonesia, continuing to be a prominent figure in Indonesian pop music.
