Pierrick Valdivia
Pierrick Valdivia (born 18 April 1988) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Born in Bron, France, he is 1.85 m tall. Valdivia began his career with amateur club AS Saint-Priest before joining the Olympique Lyonnais academy. He signed his first professional contract with Lyon for the 2008–09 season and spent that year with Lyon’s reserve team, playing 26 matches and scoring 6 goals, including a hat-trick against CA Bastia and a brace against Saint-Priest. He did not make a Ligue 1 appearance for Lyon.
In 2009 he moved to CS Sedan Ardennes, where he played 93 league games and scored 6 goals over three seasons. In 2012 he joined RC Lens, making 112 league appearances and scoring 15 goals until 2016. In 2016 he signed with Belgian club Sint-Truidense V.V., playing 13 league matches. He returned to France to play for Nîmes (2017–2019, 34 appearances) and Guingamp (2019–2021, 21 appearances).
Valdivia is of Spanish descent and is a fan of FC Barcelona.
