Gulu Military Hospital is a military medical facility in Gulu, the largest city in Northern Uganda. It mainly serves Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) personnel and their families. The hospital sits on the campus of the UPDF’s 4th Division headquarters, about 3 km northwest of Gulu Regional Referral Hospital.

As part of Uganda’s military health system, the hospital helps the UPDF become a modern, professional, efficient, and accountable force. It works within a regional network of medical facilities in Acholi sub-region, including Gulu Regional Referral Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor, and Gulu Independent Hospital, to deliver care to the area. The hospital also supports regional health initiatives, such as the Gulu Cancer Registry, by collecting cancer data from its wards and labs.

Like many Ugandan hospitals, it faces challenges with aging equipment and buildings. In 2019, a Ministry of Health rehabilitation project included Gulu Military Hospital to improve health infrastructure and help deliver the Uganda National Minimum Health Care Package.
