Peter de Giles
Peter Anthony de Giles (8 April 1927 – 10 April 2015) was a British rower. He went to Wellington School in Somerset and studied at Queens' College, Cambridge. He rowed for Leander Club and Thames Rowing Club. He represented England at the 1950 British Empire Games in Auckland, winning a bronze medal in the men's eight. He competed for Great Britain at the 1952 Summer Olympics in the men's coxed four. In 1950 he lived in Redhill, Surrey at Roslyn, Galton Park Road, and was studying farming.
