Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency

Bhiwandi is one of 48 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Maharashtra, a western state of India. The seat was created in 2008 after the Delimitation Commission redrew the boundaries based on its 2002 recommendations.

The constituency is made up of six Vidhan Sabha (assembly) segments: Bhiwandi Rural, Shahapur, Bhiwandi West, Bhiwandi East, Kalyan West, and Murbad.

Current representation: The 18th Lok Sabha MP from Bhiwandi is Suresh G. Mhatre, from the NCP-SP alliance INDIA. He was elected in 2024, succeeding Kapil Patil.
