Hundred of Berkeley
Berkeley Hundred was an ancient administrative area in Gloucestershire, England. Hundreds were old divisions of a county that began in the late Saxon period and were used until the 19th century. Berkeley Hundred was divided into two parts: the Lower Division and the Upper Division. The Lower Division consisted of several detached parts, including ancient parishes. The Upper Division consisted of the parishes. The meeting place was at Berkeley.
