Mary Isabella "Peta" Taylor (married name Mary Jager) was an English cricketer born 11 July 1912 in Wimbledon, England. A right-arm medium-paced bowler, she played for England from 1934 to 1937 and appeared in seven Test matches, including the first ever women's Test match. She took 9 wickets at an average of 17.88, with best bowling of 3/6, and scored 31 runs with a top score of 10 not out. She bowled 627 balls in Tests. In domestic cricket, she played for various composite XIs and for South Women. She died on 22 March 1989 in Monreith, Scotland, aged 76.
