1950 All-America college football team

The 1950 All-America college football team includes the best players chosen as All-Americans by eight official selectors recognized by the NCAA for that season: the All-America Board (AAB), the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), the Associated Press (AP), the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), the International News Service (INS), the Newspaper Enterprise Association (NEA), The Sporting News (SN), and United Press (UP). Only three players were unanimous first-team picks by all eight selectors: Ohio State halfback Vic Janowicz, Army end Dan Foldberg, and Texas guard Bud McFadin. Janowicz also won the 1950 Heisman Trophy. For consensus purposes, the NCAA uses these eight published All-America teams, and the article notes which first-team designations each consensus All-American received.
