Dean Marshall

Dean Marshall is a Canadian actor, writer, and director who has worked in film, television, and theatre since 1993. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, to a family originally from Trinidad and Tobago, and grew up in a Montreal suburb. He started performing in a steel band as a child and joined the Canadian Forces at 18, serving for about six years.

Marshall is best known for roles like Sgt. Bates on Stargate Atlantis and Carter on Da Vinci's Inquest and Da Vinci's City Hall. He has also appeared as Malcolm Bridges in Babylon 5: The Legend of the Rangers and as Detective Carter in Da Vinci's City Hall. Since 1993, he has lived in Vancouver.
