2005 Spa 24 Hours
The 2005 Proximus 24 Hours of Spa was the 58th Spa 24 Hours race and the sixth round of the 2005 FIA GT Championship. It combined FIA GT GT1 and GT2 cars with national and one-make cars (labeled G2 and G3). The race took place July 30–31, 2005 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. For the FIA GT Championship, the top eight finishers in GT1 and GT2 earned half-points at the 6-hour and 12-hour marks. Points for the top eight were awarded in this order: 4.0, 3.0, 2.5, 2.0, 1.5, 1.0, 0.5. Factory teams like Aston Martin Racing and GLPK-Carsport appear by the position they were running but did not score points. Class winners are shown in bold. Cars that did not complete 70% of the winner’s distance are Not Classified (NC). † indicates factory teams that do not score points.
