Tennis at the 1988 Summer Olympics
Tennis returned to the Summer Olympics in Seoul in 1988 after being absent since 1924. It had been a demonstration sport in 1968 and 1984. The events were held on outdoor hard courts (Neodex) at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center from September 20 to October 1, 1988. The champions were: Men’s singles Miloslav Mečíř (Czechoslovakia); Women’s singles Steffi Graf (West Germany); Men’s doubles Ken Flach / Robert Seguso (USA); Women’s doubles Pam Shriver / Zina Garrison (USA).
