Penicillium koreense

Penicillium koreense is a fungus from the Penicillium genus. It was first described in 2014 and was found in soils in Korea. It belongs to the Lanata-Divaricata section of the subgenus Aspergilloides, which mostly contains soil-dwelling species. The type strain is KACC 47721, isolated from a bamboo field in Goryeong County, Korea.
