Paolo Albertoni
Paolo Albertoni was an Italian painter of the late Baroque era. He was born in Rome and trained in Carlo Maratti's workshop. He joined the Accademia di San Luca in Rome in 1695 and died soon after. Albertoni created works for several Roman churches, including San Carlo al Corso, Santa Maria in Campo Marzo, and Santa Marta al Collegio Romano. He also frescoed the chapel in the Palazzo Chigi in Formello.
