Pearsall Independent School District is a public school district based in Pearsall, Texas, United States. In 2009, the Texas Education Agency rated it academically acceptable.

History:
- By December 2015, Pearsall ISD had not met academic standards for four years in a row. Turnover among teachers and staff contributed to lower student performance, and the high school had five different principals between 2012 and 2015.
- In November 2015, the Texas Education Agency revoked the district’s accreditation. Pearsall ISD appealed, facing possible closure by July 1, 2016 if the appeal failed.
- In October 2016, the TEA planned a state takeover to replace the district’s board of trustees and superintendent due to years of poor performance. Pearsall ISD appealed, and by November 2016 the district avoided the takeover after meeting academic standards.
