Sun Fucheng
Sun Fucheng (孙福成) was a Chinese football player and coach. He was born on November 19, 1927, in Dalian, Liaoning, and died on April 3, 1983, in Beijing from lung cancer, aged 55.
As a player, Sun was one of the first to represent the People's Republic of China at the international level. He played for Liaoning FC from 1951 to 1959, and then for Beijing FC from 1959 to 1963. He earned 2 caps for China between 1951 and 1960, scoring 1 goal.
Sun also had a pioneering coaching career. He served as player-manager for Beijing FC around 1960–1963, and he remained in football management with Beijing FC until 1973, becoming one of the first managers of a fully professional Chinese club.
