Paul Popowich is a Canadian actor from Hamilton, Ontario, born March 2, 1973. He began acting as a teenager and landed his first film role at age 15 in Tommy Tricker and the Stamp Traveller. He is best known for playing Mr. Smith, an angel who helps people change their pasts, in the TV drama Twice in a Lifetime (season 2). Over the years, Popowich has appeared in many TV series and films, including Catwalk, The Hardy Boys, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Degrassi: The Next Generation, The Bridge, Cracked, Hemlock Grove, Haven, The Expanse, and Mayor of Kingstown.
