Don't Need Time is a song by American rapper Hotboii. It was released on April 27, 2020, and is 2 minutes and 4 seconds long. It comes from his debut mixtape Kut Da Fan On and was produced by K Hendrix and LilHBeats. The track, a piano-driven tribute to Hotboii’s late friend Wolph, is his breakout hit and the fifth single from the mixtape, reflecting on loss and street violence.
An official remix featuring Lil Baby came out on August 25, 2020, along with a music video. Lil Baby’s verse talks about street violence, substance use, and the death of fellow rapper Marlo. The remix video also honors Salaythis Melvin, a Hotboii friend who was shot and killed by police outside a mall in Orlando on August 7, 2020; it opens with a news report about the incident. In the video, Hotboii appears in a cemetery as his crew pours out liquor during Lil Baby’s verse.
