Paul Bogart, born Paul Bogoff (November 13, 1919 – April 15, 2012), was an American television director and producer. He grew up in Harlem, New York, and served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He started in show business as a puppeteer with the Berkeley Marionettes in 1946, then worked at NBC as stage manager and associate director on Kraft Television Theatre and Goodyear Playhouse.

Bogart directed episodes for many TV shows, including Way Out, Coronet Blue, Get Smart, The Dumplings, All in the Family, Mama Malone, and four first-season episodes of The Golden Girls. His films include Oh, God! You Devil; Torch Song Trilogy; Halls of Anger; Marlowe; Skin Game; and Class of ’44. He won five Primetime Emmy Awards from sixteen nominations and received a Cannes Festival honor in 1991.

He was married to Alma Jane Gitnick from 1941 until their divorce in 1979, and they had three children: Tracy, Jennifer (who was married twice to actor Elliott Gould), and Peter Bogart. Paul Bogart died in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on April 15, 2012, at age 92.
