Patrick Mullen (born Patrick Mullin; May 6, 1844 – February 14, 1897) was a United States Navy sailor who twice earned the Medal of Honor, one of only 19 people to do so. Born in Ireland, he served as a boatswain’s mate on the USS Wyandank and later the USS Don during the Civil War.

His first Medal of Honor was earned on March 17, 1865, aboard the USS Wyandank during a boat expedition up Mattox Creek. While lying on his back, he loaded a howitzer and fired with such accuracy that many rebels were killed or wounded, forcing their retreat.

His second Medal of Honor came on May 1, 1865, aboard the USS Don. He jumped overboard to rescue an officer who was drowning after the picket launch No. 6 swamped, bringing the officer safely to the boat. This brave act earned him an additional honor on his Medal of Honor.
