Maikol Benassi (born 26 November 1989) is an Italian footballer who plays as a centre-back for Siracusa in Serie D. He was born in Viareggio in the province of Lucca. He began his career with Lucchese, and after the club was expelled from the professional leagues he moved to Empoli and was loaned to Viareggio, where he helped the team reach promotion to a higher division. Over the years he played for several clubs, including Carrarese, San Marino, Parma, Livorno, Fermana, Monopoli, Cesena, Lucchese again, Novara, Pistoiese, and Livorno, before joining Siracusa in 2023. Benassi has represented Italy at youth level, playing for the Italy U-20 Lega Pro team in the Mirop Cup and the International Challenge Trophy.
