Pammene ochsenheimeriana
Pammene ochsenheimeriana is a small moth in the tortrix moth family. It was first described in 1846 by Friederike Lienig and Philipp Christoph Zeller. The species is native to Europe and the Palearctic region.
Key facts:
- Wingspan: about 8–9 mm
- Appearance: dark brownish-gray forewings with fine grey-white speckles and silvery markings; hindwings are dark
- Flight period: May and June
- Larvae feed on the tops of shoots of conifers, including Norway spruce (Picea abies), silver fir (Abies alba), and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris)
