Erigethes strobilacei is a small moth in the family Scythrididae and the only species in its genus. It was described by Baron Walsingham in 1907 and is found in North Africa (Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia). The wingspan is about 10–13 mm. The forewings are yellowish white with olive-grey speckling, giving a mottled look, while the hindwings are very pale bronzy grey. Adults are most common from late March to early April. The larvae feed on Halocnemum strobilaceum, a salt-tolerant plant.
