Zoran Tošić, born on 28 April 1987 in Zrenjanin, Serbia, is a retired footballer who played mainly as a winger. He was known for his free-kick ability and his dribbling skills. He began his career with local clubs Radnički Zrenjanin and Proleter Zrenjanin, and then played for Mladost Lukićevo. After a stint with Budućnost Banatski Dvor, he moved to Banat Zrenjanin, and in 2007 signed for Partizan. His performances earned him a big move to Manchester United in 2009. Finding first-team football difficult, he spent six months on loan at 1. FC Köln in 2010 before transferring to CSKA Moscow, where he stayed for seven seasons and won several titles. He scored important goals in Europe, including a notable goal against Real Madrid in 2012. In 2017 he returned to Partizan, and later played for Taizhou Yuanda in China, Tobol in Kazakhstan, and Lamia in Greece, before retiring. Internationally, Tošić earned 76 caps for Serbia and scored 11 goals, representing Serbia at the 2010 World Cup and the 2008 Olympics. He also helped Serbia U21 reach the final of the 2007 European Under-21 Championship.
