Palmetto Bay Academy
Palmetto Bay Academy is a small, private non-traditional high school in Miami, Florida. It is at 16637 S. Dixie Highway and serves students in grades 6–12, enrolling about 42 students each year. The school was founded in 2000 by Lois Dimos and James Dimos. It offers college-prep courses in a supportive environment, with electives, clubs, and events. In 2015, Margaret Eubanks and John Eubanks joined as director and associate director, and in 2020 they became owners. Palmetto Bay Academy moved to distance learning in 2019–2020 and returned to full on-campus schooling in August 2021, while continuing to serve homebound students.
