Oxford North (federal electoral district)
Oxford North was a federal electoral district in Ontario, represented in the House of Commons from 1867 to 1935. Created by the British North America Act of 1867, it included parts of Oxford County. In 1882, it covered the townships of East Nissouri, West Zorra, East Zorra, Blandford, South Easthope and North Easthope, the town of Woodstock, and the village of Embro. In 1903, the district was redrawn to exclude South Easthope and North Easthope and to add Blenheim township. In 1914, it was further adjusted to include the part of Tavistock village in Zorra East. The electoral district was abolished in 1933 and merged into Oxford riding. This riding elected several Members of Parliament.
