Frederick Arthur Monk
Frederick Arthur Monk (July 16, 1884 – February 16, 1954) was a Quebec politician. Born in Montreal, he was the son of Frederick Debartzch Monk. In 1935, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Quebec as a candidate for the Jacques-Cartier riding with the Action libérale nationale (ALN). When the ALN formed the Union Nationale, he chose not to join and ran as an Independent in 1936, but was defeated. He died in Montreal at age 69 and is buried in Mount Royal Cemetery. He was married to Mabel Kathleen Whitley.
