Melloconcha grata
Melloconcha grata, the angulate glass-snail, is a tiny land snail that is native to Lord Howe Island in Australia. It is known only from the summit of Mount Gower, and possibly its upper slopes. The shell is about 4.5 mm tall and 6.6 mm wide, tro choidal with an elevated spire, smooth and glossy, and golden-brown. The whorls are flattened on top and rounded below, with an angled outer edge, weakly impressed sutures, and fine spiral grooves. The opening is oval-lunate and the shell has a closed umbilicus. The snail is rare and may already be extinct.
