Owen Cravens
Owen Cravens (born June 26, 2003) is an American paratriathlete who is visually impaired because of Stargardt disease. He comes from Algonquin, Illinois. His parents are Jerry and Deirdra, and he has two sisters, Allison and Jenna. He went to Huntley High School and studies business at Arizona State University.
Cravens began losing his sight as a child but grew up playing soccer. He was introduced to triathlon by the Challenged Athletes Foundation and started competing at the elite level in 2019.
He represented the United States at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in the PTVI category, finishing fourth with a time of 1:00:43.
In October 2025, he won a gold medal in the mixed team relay at the World Triathlon Para Championships in Wollongong.
