Overlook Medical Center is a nonprofit teaching hospital in Summit, New Jersey, about 20 miles from New York City. It is part of Atlantic Health and serves Summit and nearby communities in northern New Jersey.

History and growth:
- Founded in 1906 by Dr. William Henry Lawrence Jr. with 42 beds in a three-story building on a hilltop.
- The Valerie Fund Children’s Center opened in 1977 to treat children with cancer and rare blood disorders.
