From 1920 to 1938, the Czechoslovakia national football team played 124 matches, winning 65, drawing 26 and losing 33. Before 1920, Czech teams played as Bohemia (1903–1908) and as Bohemia & Moravia in 1939. The national team was formed in 1920, but Czech players had appeared as Bohemia since 1906 and won the 1919 Inter-Allied Games in Paris. Their first FIFA-recognized match was at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. They also competed in four Central European International Cups between 1927 and 1938. In the Olympics, they reached the final in 1920 (losing to host Belgium) and played in 1924 as well. They qualified for two FIFA World Cups, 1934 and 1938, finishing as runners-up in 1934 after losing to hosts Italy.
