Guaca is a town and municipality in the Santander Department of northeastern Colombia. It covers about 382 square kilometers and sits at an elevation of 2,401 meters above sea level. Guaca was founded in 1553. In 2005, about 6,916 people lived there, with a population density of around 18 people per square kilometer. The area uses Colombia Standard Time (UTC-5). Coordinates are roughly 6.883°N, 72.867°W. The official website is guaca-santander.gov.co.
