Out of the Fierce Parade is The Velvet Teen's debut full-length album. It was released in the United States on March 19, 2002, and in Japan on June 4, 2003. The album was recorded January 11–18, 2002, at The Hall of Justice in Seattle and lasts 52 minutes and 45 seconds. It is an indie rock album released by Slowdance Records. The Velvet Teen co-produced it with Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie. The cover art was designed by Logan Whitehurst. Music videos were made for "Radiapathy" and "The Prize Fighter" (directed by Abe Levy).
